The iAgent Protocol introduced an novel AI agent as a digital asset class at Malaysia Blockchain Week in Kuala Lumpur and the Asia Blockchain Summit in Taiwan this month, enabling gamers around the world to create, train, trade, and monetize personalized AI gaming agents that take the NPCs of the past to a whole novel level. The iAgent Protocol developed the world’s first AI agent trained on live gameplay footage of professional Counter-Strike players. At both MBW and ABS, attendees got their first look at a revolutionary novel class of digital game assets. iAgent Protocol showcased novel technology on August 1 and 6 that uses AI modules to train game characters based on gameplay footage. Their presentation included an iAgent trained using video footage from Flaxciz, a professional CS player from Team Secret.

iAgents are here to not only revamp the old-fashioned NPCs of the gaming world, but also empower all players in the ecosystem. Any user can train an AI agent using gameplay footage, then trade, rent, and monetize their personal game agents. Whether it’s a casual player playing with friends or an entire studio looking to add world-class AI characters trained by humans to their game, iAgent offers novel solutions and possibilities.

By partnering with Alliance, a global esports powerhouse competing in some of the most popular games in the world, and Team Secret, a professional esports organization, iAgent was able to train the character based on Flaxciz’s gameplay footage.

Jamie Batzorig, CEO of iAgent and keynote speaker, presented the first ever human-trained iAgent. The development team collaborated with AethirCloud, a project building a scalable decentralized cloud infrastructure for gaming and AI. The iAgent protocol, based on DePIN, leverages unused GPU resources from around the world and transforms them into a distributed GPU network dedicated to training AI agents.

iAgent is supported by GEDA, a web3 esports ecosystem that brings together esports enthusiasts, as well as Emerge Group, a gaming marketing agency that has worked with such well-known brands as Valorant, Mobile Legends, and Riot Games.

The iAgent team aims to democratize gaming by creating AI agents as digital assets and providing all players with the tools and infrastructure to train their own agents. These human-trained AI agents represent players’ strategies, styles, and creativity, turning them into digital representations of their player personas.

By creating the world’s first AI agent trained on video footage of a professional esports player, iAgent aims to change the landscape and future of gaming. The tools used to create this groundbreaking digital asset and game character will soon be available to everyone in the gaming ecosystem. All a player needs is a gameplay video to develop their own AI agent. With the first-of-its-kind AI_NFT (OFT) standard, creators will have full ownership of their AI agents running across multiple chains using novel technology developed by LayerZero Labs.
