Beige book Fed: The Outlook is getting worse because of the uncertainty stimulated with tariffs

This report, widely known as Beige Book, is published eight times a year. Each Federal Reserve Bank collects anecdotal information on current economic conditions, most of which focus on the general review of the economy, inflation and employment.

Beige book: Economic activity is largely unchanged; The wage growth slows down, and inflationary pressure persists among the augment in costs based on tariff

The FED beige Karil book revealed a slight change in economic activity, and the fears of tariffs have deteriorated perspectives in several regions. Consumer expenses remain mixed, while the labor market has shown signs of cooling after getting stuck or edging lower in many Fed districts.

Wage growth has slowed down in some areas, despite better labor availability. When it comes to inflation, the cost of outlays increased due to tariffs, while companies transfer the costs of margin squeezing.

A beige book added that companies are preparing for greater uncertainty, primarily due to the impact of tariffs and a weaker demand for services.
