Ethereum falls 10% in bearish trade

Investing.com – Ethereum was trading at $2,898.17 at 23:12 (03:12 GMT) on the Investing.com index on Friday, down 10.25% on the day. It was its biggest one-day percentage loss since November 9, 2022.

The downward move saw Ethereum’s market cap fall to $360.89 billion, or 17.62% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest point, Ethereum’s market cap was $569.58 billion.

Over the last twenty-four hours, the Ethereum price has fluctuated between $2,896.05 and $3,108.66.

Ethereum has fallen by 12.95% over the past seven days. Ethereum’s trading volume in the twenty-four hours to the time of writing was $20.66 billion or 21.95% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. Over the past seven days, trading has ranged from $2896.0498 to $3522.0027.

The current Ethereum price is still 40.42% lower than its all-time high of $4,864.06 reached on November 10, 2021.

Tether USDt was trading at $1.0002 on the Investing.com index, up 0.09%.

Bitcoin’s market capitalization was recently $1,104.18 billion, or 53.90% of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization, while Tether’s USDt market capitalization was $112.45 billion, or 5.49% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
