Trump will meet with senators on Thursday about the CLARITY Act: Politico

US President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with several senators at the White House on Thursday to discuss progress on the Cryptocurrency Market Structure Act.

According to Politico, Sen. Bernie Moreno said a group of senators will brief the president on the bill and “its path to success.” Sen. Cynthia Lummis will also attend the meeting, according to a Senate Republican aide.

“We will talk about the bill as a whole. I mean, obviously the president was very involved in this bill,” Moreno said. “It’s really driving innovation that I think will be beneficial.”

The meeting comes as lawmakers race to pass the bill Act on the structure of the cryptocurrency marketcalled the CLARITY Act, before the August break in the Senate session. Many lawmakers see this as their last real chance to pass the bill before the midterm elections.

“I hope we can reach an agreement by the end of this week,” said Senator Thom Tillis, who helped draft the CLARITY Act. unresolved resolutions– he told Politico.

“I think it’s incredibly important if we’re going to get that message out before the August break.”

Lawmakers are waiting for the revised bill.

In an interview with Fox Business on Wednesday, Lummis he said a recent version of the bill will be introduced in the next few days and is expected to go to the Senate next week.

Meanwhile, Polymarket traders placed chance The CLARITY Act will be passed this year at 39%.
