Indonesia’s First Government Web3 Program at Coinfest Asia 2024

This collaboration introduces Ignit3, Indonesia’s first government-backed Web3 program that aims to nurture local innovation and accelerate the Web3 startup ecosystem by providing imperative resources, mentoring, and networking opportunities to aspiring entrepreneurs.
Ignit3 was publicly unveiled at a special side event hosted by Lisk at Coinfest Asia 2024 in Nuanu, Bali on August 22. The event marks a significant step in promoting the growth of Web3 in Indonesia and will provide detailed information on the program’s goals, benefits, and opportunities to get involved.
Lisk’s partnership with Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital aims to support and scale Web3 projects and entrepreneurs in Indonesia, leveraging government support to provide critical resources and mentoring. The collaboration will foster a growing Web3 ecosystem by combining Lisk’s expertise with Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital’s strategic leadership, strengthening local innovation and driving the future of blockchain technology in the region.

Additionally, Lisk is sponsoring the Real World Asset (RWA) track at the ETHSEA Hackathon, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the Ethereum South East Asia community. The RWA track, co-sponsored by Optimism, will award a $10,000 prize. The collaboration aims to leverage Indonesia’s affluent talent pool, focusing on real-world assets and applications, as well as supporting emerging Web3 developers.
