Big mistake: Ledger user accidentally burns 10,000 tokens

As recently reported by XRPscan on the X platform, on October 18, a transaction on the XRP Ledger resulted in the burning of 10,000 Drop tokens. The incident sparked speculation among the community about whether the transaction was intentional. Thomas Silkjaer, director of analytics and compliance at InFTF, suggested the burn may have been a deliberate decision by the issuer, complicating the situation. Elon Musk’s reaction to the president of El Salvador: details

Yesterday, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele visited the X Platform to share the latest statistics showing the improvement of various indicators in the country. The statistics included declines in crime, food prices and migration rates, as well as increases in rates in tourism and energy production. The indicators mentioned by the president included Bitcoin, marked with an up arrow; presumably this means either the amount of BTC a country has accumulated, or the value of its BTC holdings, or possibly both. Post X caused a reaction from Elon Musk himself, the world-famous centurion and head of Tesla (NASDAQ:). Commenting on Bukele’s post, Musk described El Salvador’s achievements as “extremely impressive.” Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin has exceeded $71,000. BTC is currently changing hands at $72,128, up 0.69% in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.

SHIB leaves AVAX behind, will ADA be next?

After Bitcoin’s incredible rally that saw the flagship cryptocurrency breach the $71,000 mark, many altcoins in the market followed suit and this was no exception. Yesterday, SHIB saw its price jump 11% and its market capitalization increased 9.3% to $11.02 billion, according to CoinMarketCap. These advances helped Shiba Inu flip (AVAX) in terms of market capitalization; As of this writing, Shiba Inu is ranked 12th on CoinMarketCap’s list of top cryptocurrencies. This achievement was highlighted by Shiba Inu Marketing Director Lucie in her post X; she also jokingly asked her followers, “Wen ADA?” probably hoping that one day SHIB will be able to surpass the token as well. Meanwhile, ADA ranks 11th, just ahead of SHIB.
