Investing.com – Israel’s stock market fell after the close of trading on Sunday as sector losses led to stock market declines.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the decline was 0.23%.
The best performers of the session were: Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which increased by 4.77%, or 1,390.00 points, to reach 30,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NICE Ltd (TASE:) rose 3.28% or 2,070.00 points to close at 65,270.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) rose 2.94% or 480.00 points, up to 16,780.00 in the final session.
The worst performer of the session was Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell by 3.33%, or 153.00 points, to reach 4,435.00 at closing. Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) fell 2.87% or 29.00 points to close at 982.00 and Harel (TASE:) fell 2.59% or 92.00 points to 3,460 .00.
Declining stocks outpaced gains on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 266 to 170, with 103 ending unchanged.
Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) shares surge to five-year highs; increased by 2.94% or 480.00 to 16,780.00.
Crude oil for November delivery rose 1.00%, or 0.74, to $74.45 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for December delivery rose 0.67%, or 0.52, to $78.14 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.22%, or 6.00, reaching a price of $2,673.20 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.26% to 3.81, while EUR/ILS fell 0.24% to 4.18.
U.S. Dollar Index futures rose 0.52% to 102.28.
