Rewards platform Pump.fun pays users for tattooing tokens and racing viral stunts

Solana-based memecoin launcher Pump.fun introduced a novel open rewards platform where users posted crypto rewards for quirky promotional tasks such as tattooing memecoin stock symbols, quitting their current job live on camera, or parachuting into a World Cup match.

Push-up.fun introduced novel platform on Thursday, positioning it as an open marketplace where you can “realize rewards for ANY task and leverage the power of people and money around the world.” Submissions are reviewed by Pump.fun once funds are in the deposit account. If accepted, the reward will be paid to the submitter.

Pump.fun has stated that rewards that “may be considered spam by X are not allowed” in their Terms and Conditions document.

The highest-paid jobs included a prize of approximately $57,000 for parachuting into a World Cup match wearing a memecoin mascot, generosity for interrogating the family of Henryk Nowak’s killer and $3,000 for quitting his job live in front of the camera.

Some offers reviewed by Cointelegraph offered thousands of dollars for risky or degrading promotional activities, raising questions about moderation, safety and legal exposure

Users can rank open jobs by highest reward, time remaining, or those that have received the most entries so far.

Open orders are triggered with an expiration date and describe the exact items needed to complete the task and qualify for payment.

At the time of writing, the platform showed an unclaimed $115,000 prize pool with 225 live prizes and 509 total entries.

Crypto rewards fund viral stunts

The novel rewards platform has already attracted offers willing to finance unusual memecoin marketing campaigns.

One task offered a $3,572 reward for spray-painting the “$memecoin” stock symbol on a car and setting it on fire, with 29 days left to complete the memecoin mascot challenge and film the entire process.

Another task offered a $2,630 reward for tattooing the “$boutywork” symbol on his forehead and requesting video proof of the action. So far, the task has received four applications from people who have completed the tattoo.
