The White House has reportedly confirmed that US President Donald Trump will attend an exclusive event for top TRUMP memecoin holders at his Florida residence on Saturday, after questions were raised earlier this month about whether he would attend.

Reuters reported on Friday that the White House confirmed that Trump would deliver the keynote speech at a luncheon hosted by the company behind his official Trump memecoin (TRUMP).

The gala will take place at Mar-a-Lago. It will be open to the top 297 TRUMP token holders, and the top 29 holders will also be eligible for a private reception with the president.

When the event was announced in March, a White House official he said Politico that it was not tied to Trump’s schedule and that it would take place on the same day that Trump said he would attend the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in Washington, D.C., for the first time as president.

Event conditions they also stated that Trump may not be able to attend the event and “it may be canceled for any reason.”

Trump’s potential presence at the event was a point of contention for some lawmakers, who criticized the event as a conflict of interest for the president.

Earlier this month, Democratic senators Elizabeth Warren, Richard Blumenthal and Adam Schiff reportedly sent a letter to Bill Zanker, creator of the TRUMP memecoin, asking whether Trump intended to “block access” to himself at an upcoming event.

“[O]”The organizers are promoting the conference by providing potential participants with access to President Trump (and thus encouraging the purchase of his meme coin, which will generate transaction fees for the President and his family) on a day when he will actually be unable to attend,” the letter reads.

This is the second event for TRUMP token holders. The first took place at Trump’s golf club in May 2025 and drew criticism from those who argued that Trump was using his position as president for personal financial gain.
