A Polymarket trader turned $676 into $67,608 on Saturday, taking advantage of a infrequent error during a UFC heavyweight fight in which the wrong fighter was initially announced as the winner.

By this time, Polymarket Fortune’s stock had dropped to one cent, and LlamaEnjoyer was able to place a $676 bet moments before Buffer corrected itself and declared Fortune the winner.

LlamaEnjoyer made approximately $67,000 on the UFC’s brief mistake, giving him a nearly 100x return.

LlamaEnjoyer initially almost lost $100,000

A Polymarket trader told about the incident he said they almost shelled out $100,000 for Tybura at 99 cents, probably after making the initial decision before realizing something “was wrong.”

“I canceled my order, grabbed 1c shares instead. UFC adjusted the winner seconds later. Easiest 100 times ever.”

Trader he said they placed the trade before the UFC commentator said “We have a mistake”, meaning they placed the bet within 50 seconds of Tybura being incorrectly declared the winner.

“There is no way Tybura is going to win this fight,” LlamaEnjoyer said.

Prediction markets have become one of the hottest apply cases for cryptocurrencies due to their trading volume timing in March has so far exceeded $10.4 billion, a tenfold raise compared to March 2025.
