cHowever, a growing share of analysts believe that perspective is more vital relies on financial infrastructure Ripple and XRP.
The global financial system processes approximately trillion dollars annually – a scale that few investors truly understand. Much of this flow goes through the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), which still operates on clearing rails built decades ago. Need for improvement led to interest the architecture of the Ripple ecosystem and the mathematics behind XRP’s price potential puts it well above this level that most retail investors can imagine.
The competition is the $3.7 trillion Ripple system
The Depository Trust and Clearing Company (DTCC) processes approximately $3.7 trillion in transactions each year through customary clearinghouses. These systems were designed decades ago for batch processing and delayed settlement. However, today the world is increasingly focused on tokenized assets, cross-border liquidity and continuous 24/7 markets, which makes the limitations of these legacy systems more apparent.
Tokenized real-world assets such as stocks, bonds, real estate, and commodities require infrastructure that can operate continuously and meet the compliance requirements required by institutional counterparties. This is where Ripple and XRP Ledger come in.
How will XRP reach $3,700
Ripple is becoming a significant player in the up-to-date path of global finance, and its supporters are expecting continued growth at the price of XRP. The company has previously had two notable additions: Michael Bodson, former CEO of DTCC, and Rosie Rios, former U.S. Treasurer.
According to A cryptocurrency analyst operating under the name X Finance Bull on the X social media platform, their involvement shows that Ripple is preparing to participate in the future financial settlement architecture. This, in turn, is expected to have an impact on the XRP price action and this is where the conversation begins changes in price discovery and where the math becomes clear.
If just 1% of DTCC’s $3.7 trillion annual volume ends up flowing through XRP as a liquidity bridge, that would mean $37 trillion in demand on the network. Assuming a circulating supply of 100 billion XRP, this single percentage point capture puts the price of XRP at around $370.
At 10% adoption, the total liquidity flowing through XRP will enhance to approximately $370 trillion. Under the same assumptions, this level of network utilization would correspond to a price of $3,700 for XRP. At 50%, the suggested price is approximately $18,500 for XRP.
The Ripple stablecoin is also expected to play an vital role in this growth. According to X Finance Bull, RLUSD will act as digital cash while XRP will become a neutral liquidity bridge for global settlements and currency movements.
