US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday agreed to an immediate break in strikes against energy infrastructure in the Ukrainian war. Trump’s post repeated the Kremlin, stating that Putin promised to stop attacking each other’s energy infrastructure for 30 days.
However, the Russian leader refused to sign up for a comprehensive monthly weapon suspension, which Trump’s team recently developed with the Ukrainians in Saudi Arabia.
“We agreed to the immediate suspension of weapons all over energy and infrastructure,” wrote Trump in social truth after his call with Putin.
