Investing.com – Israel’s stock market fell after the close of trading on Sunday as sector losses led to stock market declines.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the price fell by 0.79%.
The best performers of the session were: Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which increased by 0.98%, or 260.00 points, to close at 26,900.00. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) rose 0.56%, or 100.00 points, to close at 17,890.00, and Harel (TASE:) rose 0.55%, or 28.00 points, to 5,100 .00 in the final session.
The worst performer of the session was Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.89%, or 242.00 points, to close at 5,973.00. Elektra Ltd (TASE:) fell 3.43% or 7,500.00 points to close at 211,000.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) fell 3.32%, or 98.00 points, to 2,850.00.
Falling stocks outpaced gains on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 309 to 144, with 85 ending unchanged.
Harel (TASE:) Shares Rise to All-Time Highs; up 0.55% or 28.00 to 5,100.00.
Crude oil for January delivery rose 1.81%, or 1.27, to $71.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for February delivery rose 1.47%, or 1.08, to $74.49 a barrel, while February gold futures fell 1.24%, or 33.60, reaching a price of $2,675.80 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.56% to 3.60, while EUR/ILS rose 1.07% to 3.78.
U.S. dollar index futures rose 0.04% to 106.68.
