Australia’s unemployment rate was 3.9% in November, up from the previous figure of 4.1%, according to official figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) on Thursday. This result was below the market consensus of 4.2%.

Moreover, the employment change rate in Australia was 35.6 thousand in November. from 12.1 thousand in October (adjusted from 15.9 thousand), compared to the consensus forecast of 25.0 thousand.
