Investing.com – The Israeli stock market close ended trading higher on Sunday, as gains in the and sectors led indexes higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the stock gained 2.60%, setting a modern all-time high.
The best performer of the session was NICE Ltd (TASE:), which increased by 8.81%, or 5,790.00 points, to reach 71,500.00 at closing. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) added 6.86% or 1,110.00 points to close at 17,280.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:) increased by 3.90%, or 610.00 points, to 16,260.00 in the final session.
The worst performer of the session was Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which fell 0.89%, or 58.00 points, to 6,478.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) fell 0.87% or 27.00 points to close at 3,066.00 and Nova (TASE:) fell 0.79% or 600.00 points to 74,900.00.
Stock gains outpaced declines on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 345 to 114, with 80 ending unchanged.
Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:) Shares Rise to All-Time Highs; increases by 3.90%, i.e. 610.00 to 16,260.00.
The price of crude oil for December delivery fell 2.74%, or 1.98, to $70.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for January delivery fell 2.33% or 1.76 to $73.87 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.41% or 11.00 reaching a price of $2,694.80 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS increased by 0.81% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS was unchanged by 0.00% to 4.01.
US Dollar Index futures rose 0.50% to 104.89.
