Investing.com – The Israeli stock market close ended trading higher on Sunday, as gains in the and sectors led indexes higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the stock gained 1.02%, setting a novel all-time high.
The best performer of the session was Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:)), which increased by 8.89%, or 400.00 points, to reach 4,900.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:) added 4.55%, or 1,850.00 points, ending at 42,540.00 and Shikun and Binui (TASE:) rose 3.66%, or 31.50 points, to 893.00 in the final session.
They performed the worst during the session Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell by 2.62% or 830.00 points to close at 30,870.00. Nova (TASE:) fell 1.07%, or 850.00 points, to close at 78,510.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:) fell 0.39%, or 16.00 points, to 4,133, 00.
The number of rising stocks on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange outnumbered falling ones by 318 to 129, with 92 ending unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery rose 1.43%, or 0.97, to $68.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for December delivery rose 0.63%, or 0.45, to $71.54 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.52%, or 14.10, reaching a price of $2,680.80 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.81% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS rose 0.73% to 4.16.
U.S. Dollar Index futures fell 0.14% to 100.11.
