- Pacific Group of Airports (NYSE:PAC) reported on Wednesday that passenger traffic in August amounted to 5.25 million, down 7.2% year-on-year, compared with August 2023.
- The airports group said domestic traffic stood at 3.12 million passengers in August, down 10.8% year-on-year.
- International traffic In August, passenger numbers fell 1.5% year-on-year to 2.13 million.
- In August 2024, total terminal passenger traffic at GAP’s 12 Mexican airports decreased by 7.4% compared to August 2023.
- Airports in Los Cabos, Tijuana, Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara saw passenger traffic decline by 11.1%, 8.4%, 5.9% and 3.4%, respectively, compared to August 2023.
- On the other hand, Montego Bay saw a 9.4% drop in passenger traffic.
- The number of available places in August 2024 has decreased by 10.4% compared to August 2023.
- The load factor for this month increased from 81.4% in August 2023 to 84.3% in August 2024.
