Dora, the unified search, discovery, and action engine for the multichain world, is excited to announce a series of significant service enhancements that will provide Dora users with a unified search view and action interface to enable connection and swapping for over 10 chains, including Base, Rari, Xai, Palm Network, Gnosis, Scroll, and more. Current blockchain services can be highly siloed, with significant barriers or friction to interoperability, innovation, and liquidity. The introduction of the Dora 2.0 update is a key step in Dora’s vision to support the advancement towards the multichain and multiVM world by providing an unfragmented and unified multichain experience. Given Dora’s recent agreement with Movement and Fluent (NASDAQ:), Dora will also advance to become the first multiVM block explorer. This will make Dora the only block explorer that allows users to not only search EVM chains, but also view SVM, Wasm, and Move interactions within the same interface, streamlining the user experience and reducing the complexity of managing and viewing transactions.

The announcement includes three key updates:

  • Dora Search – Unified Multi-Chain Search Capabilities: Dora 2.0 enables Dora to seamlessly integrate modern chains into the platform, transforming Dora from a single-chain search engine to a unified multi-chain search engine, with initial support for over 10 chains.
  • Dora Actions – Multichain, Bridging and Swapping: Dora 2.0 will provide Dora users with a unified interface for onchain actions, called Dora Action. It will support bridging and swapping across all chains that integrate with Dora, providing a seamless user experience.
  • Dora Profiles – Omni-channel portfolio view: Starting in Q3 2024, Dora 2.0 will give users visibility into all transactions, collections and interactions across their omni-channel world in a single, unified view.
  • Dora MultiVM Discovery (NASDAQ:) Engine & Block Explorer: Starting in Q3 2024, Dora 2.0 will be expanded with modern virtual machine ecosystems such as Move with Movement and SVM and Wasm with Fluent, becoming the first unified block explorer and MultiVM search engine.

“Dora 2.0 is a key step in our vision to deliver an unified and unified multichain and now multiVM experience,” said Bunny, CEO and co-founder of Dora. “We believe that mass crypto adoption depends on reducing the barriers and friction between the ever-increasing number of chains. Users should be able to access any ecosystem they want without having to go through the technical complexities of joining a new chain. We look forward to continuing to expand the number of chains supported on Dora in the coming weeks and months, and continuing to expand Dora to multiVM with Movement, Fluent, and other virtual machines.”

As part of the Dora platform’s modern capabilities for bridging, minting, and cryptocurrency exchanges, Dora is proud to partner with Privy as a wallet service provider and with Decent to facilitate cross-chain transactions and exchanges.

“Dora has consistently been at the forefront of cryptocurrency and pioneered the first real-time latency multi-chain blockchain explorer. It was a generational leap forward for the industry, but especially for several groups—in particular, we’ve heard from many gaming and NFT customers that these two features are particularly important to how they build their product and community. We’re excited to expand with them into the MultiVM world.” Kevin Li, CEO and Co-Founder of Goldsky

“At SimpleHash, we truly believe that Dora is at the forefront of the crypto world, leading the way with a great user experience and being multichain native – their values align with ours, which is why we’re so proud to support them,” said SimpleHash founder Olly Wilson. “They’re doing important work to make the crypto world easier to navigate and onboard the next wave of billion users. We look forward to continuing our work on new VM ecosystems like Movement and Fluent.”

The announcement follows Dora’s recent close of a $5.5 million early-stage funding round co-led by Dragonfly and Lemniscap.
