- Korean airlines plan to order as many as 30 fresh planes from Boeing (NYSE: B.A), Bloomberg News reported on Sunday.
- The South Korean carrier is choosing between a Boeing (BA) 787 Dreamliner and additional Airbus A350s (OTCPK:EADSY) (OTCPK: EADSF), said Korean Air President and CEO Cho Won-Tae in an interview with Bloomberg News.
- He said the decision, which leans toward the 787, would likely be announced at the Farnborough Airshow. The aviation exhibition is scheduled for July 21-23 in Great Britain.
- In March, Korean Air Lines announced a deal to purchase 33 Airbus (OTCPK:EADSY) (OTCPK:EADSF) A350 wide-body aircraft worth $13.7 billion.
